This updated handbook is designed to introduce you to a successful way of achieving change through dialogue with decision-makers. It is based on our experience of working, through dialogue, towards a world free of nuclear weapons. The principal idea is that groups of citizens or individuals engage directly, by letter or face-to-face, with behind-the-scenes decision-makers and policy advisers, using a non-confrontational approach. Through this two-way dialogue, change takes place.
